A GoPro Adventure in Les 3 Vallees

In 2017 Claudiu Voicu and I went on our first joint snowboard trip. This was only my 4th snowboard trip ever, so I was still learning the ropes.

We had the idea of making a snowboard video, to follow up THIS VIDEO that Claudiu made way back in 2013.

However, we didn’t have much of a plan and ended up only shooting a few little bits.

Fast forward to 2018. We’d storyboarded an entire video worth of transitions and had a game plan. Off we went to the Alps… Only to get stuck with the worst weather imaginable. We only managed to shoot a single transition plus some filler.

So we went again! And this time we had a few good days. We managed to film all the footage we needed, and then Claudiu began the gruesome task of editing the whole thing together. I made a little Mecha Streisand animation to add to the mix.

Now we’re hoping we can make a version with people who can actually snowboard!
